ITW EAE announces the launch of the Vitronics Soltec ProcessGuard option, an advanced monitoring and analytics solution designed to elevate reliability, consistency, and quality across electronics assembly operations. Engineered for modern manufacturing environments, ProcessGuard delivers real-time visibility into critical thermal processes while reducing costs and improving production efficiency.
By enabling inline thermal monitoring, ProcessGuard significantly reduces the need for routine profiling, saving manufacturers time, resources, and overall production costs. Early defect prevention supports higher yields and reduced rework. The system is also compatible with any data logger for establishing baseline profiles, offering flexibility for existing workflows.
Fully integrated within the machine’s software and compatible with MES applications, ProcessGuard delivers complete product traceability and seamless connectivity within smart manufacturing environments. Its robust data collection and visualization tools provide manufacturers with tighter thermal control, improved compliance, and greater confidence in their process integrity.
“With the ProcessGuard option, manufacturers gain enhanced visibility, improved consistency, and greater confidence in their process integrity,” said Greg Calvo, Reflow Product Manager “It represents a major step forward in data-driven process assurance for electronic assembly.”
The option also includes additional thermocouples for redundant monitoring in heating and cooling zones, quick-connect thermocouples for easy maintenance, and fully integrated ProcessGuard software within the machine interface. ProcessGuard option is field upgradeable for Vitronics Soltec Centurion reflow ovens.
